The Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) at the campus of Sierra Nevada College, recently completed a LEED Platinum academic and laboratory facility on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Our role was as landscape design/build contractor and involved regular participation at design team meetings per the LEED process.
We provided LEED studies and documentation, landscape planning, native planting design, integration into the civil and stormwater design, grading and retaining walls, low flow irrigation system, and the installation of a unique hydronic pervious concrete pedestrian path.
